LL.B. Programme
City Law College provides a comprehensive three-year LL.B. full-time degree programme, which is structured into six semesters and covers thirty distinct law subjects. This postgraduate professional course is designed for graduates from any discipline who have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a UGC-approved institution. Admission to the programme requires a minimum of 45% marks in the bachelor’s degree for general category students, 42% for OBC candidates, and 40% for candidates from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories. The curriculum strictly adheres to the requirements of the Bar Council of India and is tailored to deliver rigorous legal education, reflecting the unique curricular and pedagogic approach of both City Law College and Nagaland University. The academic year typically begins in the month of July.
